Dress rehearsal visits

In a dress rehearsal, a complete run-through of the finished new production is usually shown without interruption - with everything that contributes to the particularity and atmosphere of the respective production, such as costumes, make-up, stage design, light design. School classes are invited to take advantage of this unique opportunity to see a production of the Vienna State Opera or the Vienna State Ballet before the official premiere, which takes place a few days later, for € 10,-- per student.

Tickets for dress rehearsals can be ordered directly by e-mail to tickets@wiener-staatsoper.at . Please send us the following information with your order:

• Name of the performance
• Date of the performance
• Name and address of the school
• Number of students
• Number of accompanying persons
• Contact person incl. availability

Stage rehearsal visits

On the following dates in the 2024/2025 season, a school class will have the opportunity to attend a stage rehearsal and experience the rehearsal work:

Rehearsals take place in the morning. The exact starting times will be announced two weeks in advance. Age recommendation: from 8th grade
