ISABEL SIGNORET

Isabel Signoret studied at the University of Michigan and Rice University. She has been on training programs at the Miami Music Festival, Houston Grand Opera's Young Artist Vocal Academy, Aspen Opera Center, and Wolf Trap Opera. She is the recipient of several awards and prizes. At the University of Michigan she sang Idamante ("Idomeneo"), Romeo ("I Capuleti ei Montecchi"), the title role of "La cenerentola", Cherubino in "Le nozze di Figaro". In Aspen she was heard as Dorabella and Despina ("Così fan tutte"), among others, at the Wolf Trap Opera in the title role of "Elizabeth Cree". Her roles also include Stéphano ("Roméo et Juliette"), Concepción in "L'heure espagnole", Rosina ("Il barbiere di Siviglia"), Diana ("La calisto"), Sesto ("La clemenza di Tito") . She is a member of the Young Artist Program of the Wiener Staatsoper.
