Nastasja Fischer

Nastasja Fischer studied Theater Studies at the University of Leipzig and graduated with a Master of Arts in 2013. She wrote her master’s thesis on the topic of »Dance in Public Spaces«. From 2011, Nastasja Fischer worked regularly in dramaturgy and production at the Leipzig Ballet under Mario Schröder. Following her studies, she interned for six months with Sasha Waltz & Guests for their 20th anniversary season and worked among others for the Press & Marketing Department as well as for Tour Management. From 2014 - 2020 Nastasja Fischer was engaged with the BallettCompagnie Oldenburg at the Oldenburgisches  Staatstheater. Under the direction of Burkhard Nemitz and from 2017/18 under Antoine Jully, she initially worked as a dramaturgy and production assistant. From 2016, she worked as a dramaturg and continued to work in production and company management. She was involved as a dramaturg in world premieres by ballet director and chief choreographer Antoine Jully, as well as choreographers such as Guillaume Hulot, Alessandra Corti, Hae-Kung Lee and Lester René and supervised the whole repertoire from choreographies from the dance history to contemporary creations. During her engagement in Oldenburg, Nastasja Fischer also worked as festival assistant for the biennial Internationale Tanztage Festival (2015, 2017, 2019). Since the season 2020/21 she is engaged as dramaturg at the Vienna State Ballet.
