Opening hours

Our box offices always open one hour before the performance begins.

You will find the box office in our foyer - inside the Vienna State Opera, corner Herbert-von-Karajan-Platz/Opernring, 1010 Vienna.

Our standing room box office always opens 80 minutes before the start of the performance.

The standing room box office has its own entrance on Operngasse. The entrance is located under the arcades of our house.

For matinees, standing room tickets are issued at the box office in the opera foyer.

The federal theater box offices can be found in each of the federal theaters (Vienna State Opera, Volksoper, Burgtheater).

At the Vienna State Opera, the box offices are located in the opera foyer.
