BUY TICKETS
Sales begin for the whole month, two months in advance on the first of the month. For example, tickets are on sale starting 1 September for the whole of November, and 1 October for the whole of December. You can order tickets in advance for performances which are not yet on sale. ONLINE
You can buy your tickets daily around the clock at tickets.wiener-staatsoper.at. You will receive your tickets purchased either online digitally for your smartphone, as print@home, or you can collect them in person at the Bundestheater box offices.
TELEPHONE
Ticket sales by telephone are possible with credit card daily from 10 am to 7 pm. Tickets purchased by telephone will be sent to you electronically by e-mail or can be collected in person at the Bundestheater box offices. T +43 1 513 1 513

PRE-ORDER TICKETS
You can purchase tickets online, in writing or in person in advance for the entire season until three days before the start of sales for the month. Please note that tickets are allocated in the order of requests received and as available. It is possible that not all orders may be filled. You will receive your order confirmation as well as an indication of the binding payment date after processing has been completed. This may take some time, however, you will be informed by us in any case before the start of free sale.

IN WRITING
Your order is available for download below. You are also welcome to collect the form from the Service Centre or the box office. Please send us the completed form by e-mail, post or fax.
PERSONALLY
We will be happy to accept your order form at our Service Centre.
INFORMATION
Orders can be placed up to three weeks before the respective performance date. Please note that tickets are allocated in the order requests are received and according to availability, so it is possible that not all order requests can be fulfilled. You will receive your order confirmation along with the specified payment deadline once your request has been processed. This may take some time, but you will be informed at the latest two months before the performance date.

TICKET RETURNS
It is generally not possible to return tickets that have already been paid for, e.g. due to illness, inability to attend or changes to your travel plans. Tickets cannot be exchanged or returned in the event of changes to the cast, non-admission due to late arrival or non-functioning subtitle tablets. If an event is canceled without replacement or if another performance than the one originally booked is scheduled instead, tickets that have already been purchased will be refunded. Further information on this can be found in our general terms and conditions.
If you are unable to attend a performance, you have the option of list your tickets for resale to other potential guests.
