Zoryana Kushpler

ZORYANA KUSHPLER was born in Lviv in Ukraine. At the age of 5, she learned piano with her mother and then changed later to violin. From 1993, Zoryana Kushpler studied singing in her father’s class in the Music University in Lviv. In 1998, she changed to the Music University in Hamburg. Performances have led her among others to Zurich, Geneva, Venice, Milan, Florence, Hamburg, Berlin, London and Bern, where she was an ensemble member from 2004 to 2006 in the Stadttheater. She performed roles there among others like Sesto (Giulio Cesare) or Preziosilla (Forza del destino). She sang Adelaide (Arabella) at the opera in Graz and Carmen, Giulietta (Contes d’Hoffmann), Maddalena (Rigoletto) and Prinz Orlofsky at the Volksoper. At the Wiener Staatsoper, Zoryana Kushpler gave her debut in 2007 as Adelaide. Furthermore, she sang among others Polina and Daphni (Pique Dame), Olga (Eugen Onegin), Giulietta (Les Contes d‘Hoffmann), Fenena (Nabucco), Suzuki (Madama Butterfly), Ulrica (Un ballo in maschera), Prinz Orlofsky (Die Fledermaus) and Preziosilla (La forza del destino).
