Théo Touvet is a highly versatile actor, musician, dancer, acrobat and circus artist. As a child, he throws himself body and soul into the practice of gymnastics, equestrian vaulting, dance, mountaineering, drawing, close-up magic and the trombone, spending twelve years in conservatory for classical music. This is his way of preparing himself for a scientific Master’s degree which will lead him from the Ecole Normale Supérieure to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, also going through Canada and the Indian Institute of Science, then from the Ecole Polytechnique to the NASA, in particular to better understand volcanoes and the glacial currents of the Antarctic. A year later, he specializes in Cyr wheel at the Centre National des Arts du Cirque, before joining the Conservatoire National Supérieur d’Art Dramatique in Paris for acting. Théo has since co-written and acted in performances by David Lescot (»Les Glaciers grondants / The Thundering glaciers«), Olivier Letellier (»La Nuit où le jour s’est levé«; »Rêv’errance«), Christine Bastin (»L’Infiniment dedans«), Kaori Ito (»Embrase-moi / Fire me up«), touring from the Théâtre National de Chaillot and the Théâtre de la Ville-Paris up to China (the Wuzhen Theatre Festival). After his solo (»Existe en ciel«) performed at La Chartreuse and at the Pantheon in Paris, he now works on space and time, matter and void, life and death for his film (»Panthéon«) and his live performance (»Poussière d’étoile / Stardust«) which attempts to comprehend the beauty and the complexity of what we are made of and surrounded by, while trying to connect humankind more intimately with the universe.
