KS Stephen Gould is one of the most sought-after heldentenors of our time. His schedule in 2021 includes, amongst others, »Die Walküre«, »Siegfried« and »Götterdämmerung« under Christian Thielemann in Dresden, »Tristan und Isolde« in Valencia and San Francisco, a concert with excerpts from Wagner's »Ring des Nibelungen« in Tokyo, Act 2 of »Tristan und Isolde« in Hamburg, and »Tannhäuser« in Bayreuth. He will sing Mahler’s »Das Lied von der Erde« under Teodor Currentzis with the SWR Symphonieorchester on an extended European tour. Stephen Gould is also in demand on the concert stage around the world. He sang Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 in Berlin and Munich, Beethoven's »Missa Solemnis« in Chicago, Schoenberg's »Gurrelieder« in Dresden, Munich, Montreal, Berlin, Brussels, Amsterdam, Helsinki, Montreux, at the Lucerne Festival, in Berlin, Hanover and Munich, Mahler's Symphony No. 8 in Bergen, New York under Pierre Boulez, Leipzig, Paris, Vienna and Budapest, Mahler's Das Lied von der Erde in Chicago, Berlin, Graz, Lucerne, Paris and Prague, as well as Stravinsky's »Oedipus Rex« in London. His recordings include Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 under Donald Runnicles, »Siegfried, »Götterdämmerung« and »Tristan und Isolde« under Christian Thielemann, as well as »Siegfried« and »Tristan und Isolde« under Marek Janowski. In May 2015 Stephen Gould was awarded the honorary title of »Austrian Kammersänger«.
