Stefan Vinke

After his studies of church music, pedagogy and vocal arts at the University of Music in Cologne, STEFAN VINKE was initially engaged in Karlsruhe and Mönchengladbach, before he went to the Nationaltheater Mannheim as young heldentenor from 1999 to 2005. There he acquired a large repertoire in a short time and sang the most important parts of the fach, such as Tristan, Florestan, Parsifal, Lohengrin, Siegmund, Erik, as well as Idomeneo, Don José and Hoffmann. In the following years he for example sang in the USA, Bayreuth (Stolzing, Tristan, both Siegfrieds), Berlin (Tannhäuser, Bacchus, Parsifal), London, Budapest, Melbourne, Seattle (both Siegfrieds), Leipzig (Rienzi, Parsifal, Jim Mahoney, Stolzing), Beijing (Lohengrin), Chicago (Tambourmajor), Stuttgart (Bacchus), Enescu Festival Bucharest (both Siegfrieds), Toulon (Lohengrin). Current and future performances for example include Siegfried (Siegfried and Götterdämmerung) in Bayreuth, at the deutsche Oper Berlin and in Melbourne and Menelas (Die ägyptische Helena) at the deutsche Oper Berlin.
