MIHAIL DOGOTARI was born in 1986 in Glodeni (Moldova). He studied among others at the Music College Stefan Neaga and the National Music Academy in Bucharest, and has completed a great number of masterclasses. In addition, he has won numerous national and international competitions. His repertoire includes among others, Alido­ro (La cenerentola), Aeneas (Dido and Aeneas), Alessio (La sonnambula), Gasparo (Rita), Mercutio (Roméo et Juliette), Malatesta (Don Pasquale) and Figaro (Il barbiere di Siviglia). Mihail Dogorati has made appearences in Ravenna, Milan, Mantua, Bozen, Bucharest and Bergamo. Since the 2012/2013 season, he is an ensemble member of the Wiener Staatsoper and in that season was also a scholar of Novomatic. Mihail Dogotari gave his debut in the House on the Ring in September 2012 as kaiserlicher Kommissär in Puccini's Madama Butterfly, and has also sung among others Dancairo in Carmen, Hauptmann and Saretzki in Eugen Onegin, Antonio in Le nozze di Figaro, Montano in Otello, Paris in Roméo et Juliette, Jäger in Rusalka, Sciarrone in Tosca, Christian in Un ballo in maschera and Brétigny in Manon.
