Lise Lindstrom
The Soprano LISE LINDSTROM was born in California. She first studied with her mother, a singer, and later at the San Francisco State University and at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. The most important houses where she has already performed include among others the New York Metropolitan Opera, the San Francisco Opera, the Royal Opera House Covent Garden in London, the Deutsche Oper Berlin, the San Diego Opera and the Arena di Verona. Furthermore, Lise Lindstrom can be heard at the Milan Scala, the Teatro Massimo in Palermo and the Staatsoper Hamburg. Preferred roles of the singer include among others the leading roles in Puccini’s Turandot and in Strauss’ Salome, the leading role in Puccini’s Tosca, Elisabeth and Venus in Wagner’s Tannhäuser, Senta in Wagner’s Der fliegende Holländer, Brünnhilde in Wagner’s Walküre as well as the leading role in Strauss’ Ariadne auf Naxos. The singer is also internationally successful as a concert and lied singer. At the Wiener Staatsoper, Lise Lindstrom gave her debut in 2012 as Salome and has also sung Turandot.
