Hans-Otto Ehrström

Hans-Otto Ehrström come from a Finnish family of artists and musicians.
He studied at the Sibelius Academy, in Conservatoire Nationale Supérieure Lyon and, after his Soloist Diploma, he was a member of the Zurich Opera Studio. After many years of chamber music and Lied pianism, he joined the Finnish National Opera in 2000, and was a regular guest at the Savonlinna Opera festival for almost 20 years. He has as well been responsible for productions for other opera houses in Europe.

His repertoire consists of far beyond 100 operas in 10 languages. Since the 1990s, Ehrström has worked as official accompanist in many vocal competitions. He has been seen on stage , in the radio and tv in many countries between Japan and Greenland. 
Since May 2023 he works as correpetiteur at the Vienna State Opera.
