Francesco Lanzillotta
Francesco Lanzillotta is considered one of the most interesting conductors of his generation. In recent years he has appeared regularly in some of the most prestigious Italian opera houses, as well as collaborating with important orchestras (including the Orchestra Nazionale della RAI di Torino). He was music director of the Orchestra Filarmonica Toscanini for four years, an orchestra with which he continues to have a partnership. He opened the Macerata Opera Festival in 2015 with Rigoletto and was appointed Music Director of the Festival in 2017.
