Fiona McGee

Fiona McGee was born in London. After her education at the Royal Ballet School in London she joined the Royal Ballet of Flanders in 2014 and has been promoted to demi-soloist after two years. In 2017 she joined the Vienna State Ballet, in 2018 she was promoted to demi-soloist.
Her repertoire comprises Pastorale in Rudolf Nureyev’s »The Nutcracker«, Sarazenen-Duo in Nureyev’s »Raymonda«, an energetic woman in Jerome Robbins’ »The Concert«, countrywoman and Nubian slave (soloist) in Manuel Legris’ »Sylvia«, Odaliske in Legris’ »Le Corsaire«, Swanilda's friend and spinner in Pierre Lacotte’s »Coppélia« as well as roles in Elena Tschernischova’s »Giselle«, Rudolf Nureyev’s »Swan Lake«, Kenneth MacMillan’s »Concerto«, András Lukács’ »Movements to Stravinsky«, Patrick de Bana’s »Marie Antoinette«, Edward Clug’s »Peer Gynt«, George Balanchine’s »Symphonie in C«, »Stravinsky Violin Concerto« and »Jewels« (Pas de trois in »Emeralds« and »Rubies«), John Neumeier’s »Bach Suite III« and »Le Sacre«, William Forsythe’s »Artifact Suite«, Nacho Duato's »White Darkness«, »Skew-Whiff« by Sol León & Paul Lightfoot, Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker’s »Große Fuge« and Ohad Naharin’s »Tabula Rasa«. Furthermore, she danced in world premieres of Pontus Lidberg's »Between Dogs and Wolves«, Marco Goecke's »Fly Paper Bird« and works by Martin Schläpfer such as »4«, »Die Jahreszeiten« and the Fairy Violente in » The Sleeping Beauty«.
