Eric Jurenas
Countertenor ERIC JURENAS has won numerous awards in vocal competitions around the world, including an award from The Sullivan Foundation and ’s-Hertogenbosch International Vocal Competition and a first place each in the Hal Leonard Online Vocal Competition, the Dayton Opera Guild Competition, Kentucky Bach Choir Competition and the Bel Canto Chorus of Milwaukee Competition. He has performed at various opera houses, as well as with a number of ensembles, among them Santa Fe Opera, Opera Philadelphia, Michigan Opera Theatre, the Dayton Philharmonic, American Bach Soloists, Colorado Bach Ensemble, Calvin College Choirs, Kentucky Bach Choir and Bel Canto Chorus of Milwaukee. Recent highlights have included performances at Komische Oper Berlin (Peter Pan, Alexander), Theater an der Wien (Oreste, Rinaldo), Royal Opera House Covent Garden (Narciso), Innsbruck Festival of Early Music (Tiridates), New York (Voice of Farinelli), Moscow and Lyon (Rinaldo) as well as Munich (Narciso). At Vienna State Opera, he has sung Natasha in Tri Sestry.
