Elena Zaremba
Elena Zarembass' career began at the Bolshoi in Moscow, where she sang all the major roles of the Russian repertoire. Since then she has appeared at major opera houses, orchestras and festivals around the world, including La Scala Milan, the Royal Opera House London, the Metropolitan Opera New York, the Opéra National de Paris, in San Francisco, Washington, with the Cleveland Orchestra, in Tokyo, Bologna, at the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, at the Arena di Verona, Academia Santa Cecilia Rome, Vienna State Opera, with the Vienna Philharmonic, at the Salzburg Festival, in Bregenz, Edinburgh, at the Théâtre Royal de la Monnaie Brussels, Tel Aviv, in Lisbon, Berlin, at the Bavarian and Hamburg State Opera, in Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, La Coruña, Bilbao. In the 2020/21 and 2021/22 seasons she appeared as Larina in Palermo, in Der feurige Engel at the Theater an der Wien, in Pique Dame at the Liceu in Barcelona and in Eugene Onegin at the Metropolitan Opera in New York, among others. In 2023 Elena Zaremba will sing the role of Old Burya in a Jenůfa production at the Palau de les Arts in Valencia.
