DMITRY BELOSSELSKIY is one of the most sought-after basses of his generation. His career to date has taken him repeatedly to New York's Metropolitan Opera, La Scala in Milan, the Salzburg Festival, the Bavarian and Berlin State Operas, Zurich Opera House, Theater an der Wien, Paris Opera, Orange, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Rome Opera, Washington, Chicago, Toronto and Valencia, among others. Recent appearances include Hunding (Die Walküre) at the Bayreuth Festival, return to Rome Opera as Talbot in Verdi's Giovanna d'Arco, Escamillo (Carmen) at Moscow's Bolshoi Theatre, Dossifei (Khovanshchina) at the Paris Opera. Current or future performances include Doctor (Wozzeck), Hunding, Fafner (Das Rheingold, Siegfried) and Hagen (Götterdämmerung) at the Vienna State Opera, Zaccaria (Nabucco) in Zurich and Madrid, Philip II. (Don Carlo) in Chicago and Daland (Der fliegende Holländer) and Komtur (Don Giovanni) at the Metropolitan Opera. At the Vienna State Opera, Dmitry Belosselskiy made his debut in 2014 as Zaccaria and was also heard here as Ivan Khovansky in Khovanshchina and Fiesco in Simon Boccanegra.
