Diana Nurmukhametova

Young Russian coloratura soprano DIANA NURMUKHAMETOVA was born in 1991 and studied in Ufa and at Rimsky-Korsakov State Conservatory in St. Petersburg. She has also taken master classes with Natalie Dessay, Sergei Leiferkus and Olivia Gorra. Diana Nurmukhametova has won numerous awards in international vocal competitions, such as Stanislaw Moniuszko Competition in Minsk (2014), Opera without Borders in Krasnodar (2015), Boris Shtokolov International Vocal Competition St. Petersburg (2016), Vissi d’Arte Prague (2018) and Natalia Spiller Competition Moscow (2018). Recently, she has performed in Germany, France, Great Britain, Austria and China. Her repertoire includes works by Mozart, Donizetti, Delibes, Bernstein, Szymanowski, Rachmaninoff and others. Diana Nurmukhametova has won a Novomatic scholarship and joined Vienna State Opera’s ensemble at the beginning of the 2019/2020 season.
