Daniel Kluge

DANIEL KLUGE comes from Buenos Aires. He came to Germany with his parents in 1987. He received his first vocal training as an Aurelius Sängerknabe in Calw from 1989-2003. From 2004, he studied at the University of Music Karlsruhe and attended numerous master classes. 2010- 2019 he belonged to the ensemble of the Stuttgart State Opera and appeared in roles such as Remendado (Carmen), Flavio (Norma), Blind (Die Fledermaus), Schreiber (Khovanshchina), Jacquino (Fidelio), A Soldier (Reigen), Chick (Der Schaum der Tage), Abdallo (Nabucco), Borsa (Rigoletto), Crispy Witch (Hänsel und Gretel) and in the title role in Orpheus in der Unterwelt. His most recent roles include Max in Der Freischütz, the Dance Master in Ariadne auf Naxos and Truffaldino in Die Liebe zu drei Orangen. Since 2019 Daniel Kluge has been an ensemble member of the Hamburg State Opera where he has sung Pedrillo (Entführung aus dem Serail), Monostatos (Die Zauberflöte), Bardolfo, Walther von der Vogelweide (Tannhäuser), Guillot de Morfontaine (Manon), among others.
