KS Bernarda Fink
Born as a child of Slowenian parents in Buenos Aires, KS BERNARDA FINK studied singing and music at the Instituto Superior de Arte del Teatro Colón, where she has also appeared regularly since the beginning of her career. Today, she is invited by the most renowned orchestras, such as the Wiener and Berliner Philharmoniker, the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, the Staatskapellen Berlin and Dresden, the Symphonieorchester of the Bayerische Rundfunk, the Cleveland Orchestra, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra as well as by leading baroque orchestras. With her wide repertoire ranging from baroque to the 20th century, she is among the most sought-after concert and lied singers. The mezzo-soprano recently achieved great success on the opera stage as Cecilio (Lucio Silla) at the Theater an der Wien, as Idamante (Idomeneo) at the Teatro Real in Madrid and as Irene in Händel´s Theodora at the Salzburger Festspiele. She performed as Sesto (La clemenza di Tito) and Idamante in concertant performances. In 2006, Bernarda Fink was awarded the Austrian Honorary Medal for Science and Art. In 2014, the artist was appointed Austrian Kammersängerin.
