KS ANGELA DENOKE comes from Stade by Hamburg and made her debut in the Wiener Staatsoper in 1997. She is closely connected with the Opéra National de Paris, where she has been heard singing, among others, in Kátja Kabanová, Cardillac, Rosenkavalier, Sache Makropulos, Parsifal, Fidelio and Wozzeck; as well as with the Deutschen Staatsoper Berlin (Tannhäuser, Pique Dame, Erwartung, Ro­senkavalier, Fidelio and Salome). At the Salzburg Festival, she sang among others, Kátja Kabanová, Die tote Stadt, Sache Makropulos, Wozzeck and Fidelio. Angela Denoke has been in all important opera houses like the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, the Scala, the Met, the Bayerischen Staatsoper, the Dresdner Semperoper, the Teatro Real Mad­rid, the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona and the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris. Since her debut in the Wiener Staatsoper, she has sung roles like Tatjana (Eugen Onegin), Elisabeth (Tann­häuser), Jenufa, Marietta/ Marie (Die tote Stadt), Kundry (Parsifal), Salome, Elsa (Lohengrin), Lisa (Pique Dame), Katerina (Lady Macbeth von Mzensk), Arabella, Tochter (Cardillac) and Marschallin. She has been awarded the title "Österreichische Kammersängerin".
