Baritone ALESSANDRO LUONGO was born in Pisa in 1978 and studied with Alessandro Corbelli, Renato Bruson and Mirella Freni. He for example sang Figaro (Il barbiere di Siviglia) at the Opera in Rome, Belcore (L’elisir d‘amore) and the title role in Don Giovanni at La Fenice in Venice and at the Opera in Rome as well as at the Teatro Comunale di Modena, the Teatro Municipale di Piacenza and at the Teatro del Giglio in Lucca, Conte Luna (Il trovatore) at the Ravenna Festival, Don Giovanni and Belcore in Florence, Malatesta (Don Pasquale) at the Teatro Real in Madrid and at the Opera in Rome, Dulcamara (L’elisir d’amore) at the Teatro Comunale di Bologna, Conte d’Almaviva (Le nozze di Figaro) at the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing and in Rome, Marcello (La Bohème) at the Puccini Festival in Torre del Lago and in Naples, Moralès (Carmen) and Sonora (La fanciulla del West) at La Scala in Milan, Figaro (Le nozze di Figaro) in Naples and Malatesta in Beijing. Future plans for example include Lescaut (Manon Lescaut) at the Teatro di San Carlo.
