Today, DANIELLE DE NIESE regularly sings at the important opera and concert stages, At the age of 19, she gave her debut under James Levine at the New York Metropolitan Opera as Barbarina in Le nozze di Figaro.  A short while later, debut followed in the Paris Opera, the Saito Kinen Festival in Japan and at the Nederlandse Opera. In 2005, she gav eher debut at Glyndebourne Festival in the leading role in Händel’s Cleopatra. Current engagements include the leading role in  L’incoronazione di Poppea at the Teatro Real in Madrid, Ariel in The Enchanted Island, Susanna and Despina at the New York Met, the leading role in Semele at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, Susanna at the San Francisco Opera, the leading role in Rodelinda at the Theater an der Wien, the leading role in Händels Partenope at the San Francisco Opera, the world premiere of Jimmy López‘ Bel Canto at the Lyric Opera of Chicago, Rosina, Poppea (Agrippina) and Concepción (L’heure espagnole), Kind (L’Enfant et les Sortilèges) in Glyndebourne as well as at the BBC Proms.
