After LUCIANA D’INTINO won the international singing competiton Adriano Belli in Spoleto, she gave her debut as Azucena in Il Trovatore. The mezzosoprano is often a guest at the leading opera houses like the Milan Scala, New York Met, the ROH Covent Garden, the Berliner Staatsoper, Bayerische Staatsoper, the Opernhaus Zurich, Teatro Municipal in Santiago de Chile, the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, the Te­atro La Fenice, Teatro Comunale in Bologna, Teatro dell’Opera in Rom, Teatro San Carlo in Neapel, Teatro Regio in Parma and finally at the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro. Her repertoire includes, among others, works like Samson et Dalila, Carmen, Il trovatore, Aida, Don Carlo, Norma, I Capuleti e i Montecchi, Guillaume Tell, La gazza ladra, Aureliano in Palmira, Tancredi, Il barbiere di Siviglia, Adriana Lecouvreur, Così fan tutte, L’assedio di Calais, La Favorite, Werther, Oedipus Rex, L’italiana in Algeri, Verdis Re­quiem, Rossinis Stabat Mater and his Petite Messe Solennelle. Aside from this, Luciana D’intino is also successful as a recital singer. She gave her debut at the Wiener Staatsoper in 1995 as Amneris in Aida. She has also sung in the house on the ring Léonor in La Favorite and Eboli in Don Carlo.
