Andrzej Filończyk
Polish baritone Andrzej Filończyk studied singing in Wrocław and Warsaw and won the Stanisław Moniuszko International Singing Competition in Warsaw, among others. In 2016/17 he was a member of the opera studio at Zurich Opera House. Since then, engagements have taken him to the Royal Opera House Covent Garden in London, the Bolshoi in Moscow, the Paris Opéra, the Bavarian and Berlin State Opera, the Semperoper in Dresden, the Deutsche Oper Berlin, the Rossini Festival in Pesaro and the Liceu in Barcelona, among others. His repertoire includes first roles by Mozart, Rossini, Donizetti, Bellini, Puccini, Tchaikovsky and Korngold, among others.
