Tatiana Serjan

Dramatic coloratura soprano Tatiana Serjan is considered one of today’s leading primadonnas, expecially for her acclaimed portrayal of the role of Lady Macbeth. She graduated in singing at the St. Petersburg Conservatory and made her international debut at Teatro Regio in Turin with Macbeth, an opera she performed in some of the most important theaters around the world where she regularly performs (La Scala in Milan, Rome Opera, Comunale in Bologna, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Teatro Regio in Parma, Teatro Massimo in Palermo, Opera Festival in Ravenna, Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich, Deutsche Opera in Berlin, Teatro Real in Madrid, Gran Teatre Liceu di Barcellona,Sao Carlos in Lisbon, Opernhaus in Zurich, Dallas Opera, Chicago Lyric Opera, Wiener Staatsoper, Bregenzer Festspiele and Salzburg Festival).

Her repertoire includes: Un ballo in maschera, Trovatore, Aida, Attila, La battaglia di Legnano, Nabucco, Don Carlo, Simon Boccanegra, I due Foscari, Norma, Tosca, Andrea Chenier, Sancta Susanno, Ernani, Pikovaya Dama, Adriana Lecovreur, which she has performed with such conductors as: Muti, Bartoletti, Baremboin, Conlon, Janson, Santi, Renzetti, Gerghiev, Altinoglu, Rizzi, Steinberg, Luisotti, and stage directors like: Stein, Wilson, Herzog, Pizzi, Wick, Pountney, Bondy, Deflo, Lavia.

Tatiana Serjan has sung Lady Macbeth multiple times at the Vienna State Opera.
