The young israeli soprano HILA FAHIMA studied at the Rubin Academy for Music and Dance in Jerusalem and is a prizewinner of several competitions (among others the 1st prize at the european singing competition Debut 2010 and 1st prize at the Stella-Maris singing competition 2013). At the Deutsche Oper Berlin, where she was an ensemble member for several seasons, she sang among others, Königin der Nacht, Barbarina, Najade, Semele (Liebe der Danae), Nannetta, Ruggiero (Tancredi), at the New Israeli Opera she could be heard, among others, as Amore (Orfeo et Euridice) and Oscar (Un ballo in maschera). She has also sung at the Glyndebourne Festival and junger Hirte (Tannhäuser) at the BBC Proms as well as numerous orchestral concerts. Recent successes include among others, Königin der Nacht (Graz Opera, Berliner Waldbühne, Aalto Theater in Essen, Opéra in Saint Etienne), Gilda in Jerusalem. At the Wiener Staatsoper, where she is a member of the ensemble, she has stunned in her roles, among others, as Zerbinetta, Fiakermilli, Eudoxie (La Juive), Gilda, Servilia (La clemenza di Tito), Papagena, Sophie (Werther), Oscar and Clorinda.
