On the ball evening, our ball guests will be offered both special ball services and general services.
»Beauty to go«
Guests have the opportunity to have their makeup perfected by Alma Milcic and her team in the conductor's room from 8.15 pm until 3 am. To provide geusts with the opportunity for a last-minute finish or a styling fresh-up, the team from Steinmetz-Bundy Private Salon is also available in the »Beauty to Go« area.
Styling Corner by Dyson
At the „Self Service“ station in the Gustav Mahler Hall annex, curls can be redone, hair can be blow-dried, or straightened without external assistance.
Tailoring Workshop
Popp & Kretschmer’s tailoring workshop is located in the women’s dressing rooms on the ballroom floor. Here, small wardrobe malfunctions are expertly rectified.
Shoemaker’s workshop
In the men’s corridor on the ballroom floor, there is a shoemaker’s workshop.
LANCÔME Foto-Call
In the Marble Hall annex, ball guests can have themselves photographed against a glamorous backdrop. The corresponding pictures will be displayed as a photo gallery on → wiener-staatsoper.at.
Ball Gifts
The distribution of ball donations takes place from 23.00 to 5.00 on the left and right of the festival staircase.
Doctor
You will find a doctor on the ground floor near the sausage stand.
Information
The information desk is located on the ground floor to the left next to the entrances.
Lost & Found
The lost and found office is located on the ground floor at the information desk.
Cloakroom
Coat check can be deposited in the cloakroom tents on the ground floor and in the cloakroom on the balcony to the left. Guests with box tickets can leave their coat check in their own box.
Smoking Areas
Smoking (including e-cigarettes with liquids or heets) is prohibited at the Vienna Opera Ball. On our side terraces on the 4th floor, both on the Operngasse side and Karajan Platz side, guests will find designated smoking areas.
Live Broadcast of the Opening Ceremony
The live broadcast of the opening ceremony will be shown in the following areas: Opera foyer, parquet galleries on the right and left, balcony on the right and left, Gustav Mahler Hall, Annex Gustav Mahler Hall, Marble Hall, Annex Marble Hall, rehearsal room, sausage stand, foyer on the left, Gerstner Foyer, Schwind Foyer, Schwind Loggia, The number one Vienna – hosted by Eden Bar, as well as on the gallery, side stage, and backstage.
