The loggia, which is directly connected to the Schwindfoyer via three passages, offers a view of Vienna's Ringstrasse. The Schwind Loggia and the Schwind Foyer were magnificently designed by the Viennese painter Moritz von Schwind in the style of historicism and dedicated in their furnishings to the genre of opera. Both rooms were extensively restored during the 150th anniversary of the Vienna State Opera in 2019 and shine in new splendour. Schwind loggia is glazed and heated during the cool season.
