Involving the most important names in the opera world, several style-defining productions of legendary directors will be reworked and staged for the very first time at the Vienna State Opera.

The 2020/21 season also marks the beginning of a new era for the State Ballet, with Swiss choreographer Martin Schläpfer assuming leadership of the company.
