Asmik Grigorian's role debut as Tatjana at the Haus am Ring

There will be a change of cast in the upcoming series of performances of Eugene Onegin:
In place of Nicole Car, who is ill, Asmik Grigorian will take on the role of Tatyana in the first two performances on 15 and 18 October.
Elena Guseva will sing the three remaining evenings of this series (21, 24 and 26 October).

Ms Grigorian will appear at the Vienna State Opera two more times this season: as Elisabeth in Don Carlo, conducted by Franz Welser-Möst (revival in December 2021) and as Manon Lescaut (revival in February 2022).

Elena Guseva will sing Lisa in the revival of Tchaikovsky's Pique Dame under Valery Gergiev at the Haus am Ring in January 2022.

In Dmitri Tcherniakov's production of Onegin, Andrè Schuen will again sing the title role. Anna Goryachova sings Olga, Bogdan Volkov Lenski and Dimitry Ivashchenko Prince Gremin. Tomáš Hanus is the conductor.
